This isn’t just something we printed on the back of a shirt. These words helped build The Good Life.

While I was trying to turn the dream of a brick-and-mortar cigar lounge into something new, I came across this quote online:

**“The life you want is on the other side of all the shit you don’t want to do.”**

It hit me hard enough that I printed it on a little sticker printer and attached it to the unfinished interior wall of the Airstream. It stayed there throughout the build—through every rivet, every cut, every piece of aluminum in my hands and eyes, and every moment when I wasn’t sure I could crawl underneath it or bend over one more time.

Whenever I felt ready to quit, I looked at those words and kept going.

Those original stickers are still inside the Airstream today, sealed behind the front cabinets as a permanent part of its foundation. The quote became my mantra because The Good Life was waiting on the other side of everything I didn’t want to do to get there.

Now it lives on the back of our long-sleeve shirt. It isn’t just a slogan—it’s a reminder to keep going, because the life you want may be closer than you think.
